Serious question: why do people pay that much to go to a club when you can go to fests for far less than that?
They can afford it?
ACL cost me $280

Why do people pay $7,000 for a dance floor table on a random Saturday in July? Because people can, and will. Also, people will spend stupid amounts of money just to be somewhere on New Years. I worked for a company that threw a giant New Years party once. We had people walking up to the ticket window and paying $100 at 11:45 just so they could be inside somewhere (anywhere) at midnight.
There are some one day fests too. $300 isnt that much in the grand scheme of things but that's the price of 3 days of festing that I can go to, which has 50x more to offer. I guess fests just arent for everyone though.Maybe they can't take those days off? I have no idea man...
All I know is if you can afford it, why not?
I can afford Omnia on NYE but would never do it

Are chicks in Vegas really bout that life?
Random but I remember bumping into two dudes from new Zealand one nite out in Hollywood. At a reggae club no less . These dudes were the most gregarious people I've ever met in my life. They were just buying me drinks and handing me 20 dollar bills . I came up like 80 bucks that nite. Ever since that and flight of the Conchords new Zealanders have been cool in my book
How much was the plane tix?
I just got back. My stay was cool. I went by myself. I stayed at the Flamingo.
My first day there I just started walking to the right of my hotel. I ended up walking around the Venetian, Fashion Show Mall, and Caesars. The next day I walked to the left, and I went to Ballys, Planet Hollywood, Monte Carlo, and the Bellagio.
I just started eating. I can only eat small portions and small bites, but I didn't care. I went to the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesers. It was 57 dollars, but I said F it. I sat there for 2 hours by myself. I got prime rib, lamb chops, lobster ravioli, salmon, pizza, crab legs, mac and cheese, crab legs, and a bunch of other stuff. I sat there for 2 hours by myself and gave no dambs. I also went to the Paris buffet in Ballys, and twice ate at the breakfast buffet at the Flamingo.
I walked by the Omnia night club in Caesars at like 10pm on Wednesday, and the line was pretty crazy. It looked like a doucebag kind of crowd. I wasn't going to go in anyway. I did not go out at all actually. A few women approached me, even though I am down 30 pounds and still look like I have cancer (at least to me), but I wasn't on that at all. I was just there to chill. These two cats from New Zealand I was at a table gambling with offered to take me out. One asked me where I was from, and I said right outside of Philadelphia. He was like... "I just had sex with a girl from Philadelphia last night." I saw them later that night TWISTED! They were cool. the little whole in the wall sportsbar in the Flamingo was BUMPING. People were dancing, grinding, and having a really good time.
All in all, it was good to get out of the house. Vegas is cool. I would go again.
