Just booked my Vegas trip, going out there July 3-6th. I'm staying at the Cosmo and got a terrace studio for $750, 2 people, 3 nights, from hotels.com . If you use coupon code Summer13 it takes 20% off your total price. Havent been to vegas in years, hopefully I can make the most of it . Time to read up on this thread.
So, whats poppin for 4th of July weekend my people? Anything good?
It's Red, White and BOOM week.
Make it out to Desert Breeze Park, it's a huge park to firework shows. Also the station casinos is dope (Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock Resort)
I think that was a rare occurrence. Might not always work, but you usually get the $20 backNiceeee . Anyone down to meet PM me and we'll exchange contact INFO.
Man, I was down to try that $20 trick, now IDK I'm going to do it :x MGM did that boy dirty.
How is the success rate @ the Paris & how is that place anyways?
Can anyone clarify if the $20 trick is to skip the line at clubs or simply to get a better admission price?
Or am I missing something and this trick refers to getting an upgrade at Hotels?
Sorry for noob question!
I just received the craziest offer from Chris at Tao/ Tao Beach. It seriously is blowing my mind

Spend 500 on Sat for a daybed, Sun I get a free one.
Damn that's legit. My group decided to go a diff route last time I wet back in March so I couldn't use him but I appreciate the contact info man. Spoke to him again about next Friday and he threw me a pretty solid deal with a "firm" handshake. Probably going to go with him this time around. Really cool dude.
Since I booked through hotels.com and not directly thru the hotel, will the check in /$20 and ask for available upgrade tip still work?
Not sure if your willing to cancel your reservation with Hotels.com but if you're staying at the Cosmo heres a tip. This goes for anyone who wants to stay at the Cosmo.Since I booked through hotels.com and not directly thru the hotel, will the check in /$20 and ask for available upgrade tip still work?
I am now wishing I got a better room, so I am thinking about handing a $100 to check in receptionist to see what happens. Any experiences with anyone when booking from a third party ?

The Cosmopolitan is a Marriott property. You can book directly through Marriott.com
Marriott does a "Best Rate Guarantee" price match + 25% off your total stay.
Book the room through Marriott.com and then fill out a claim form. Showing you found a better rate through Expedia.com Hotels.com etc. Marriott usually gets back to you within 24 hours and price match your rate + and additional 25% off.
Exact words from the Marriott.com website
"1) Make a reservation through any Marriott reservation channel (in other words, through one of the Marriott Web sites, by calling our reservations centers, or a property directly).
My buddies and I have been doing this every time we stay at the Cosmo. If you have any questions just let me know.
