Grow out a long braid with bells in it.

You better put him on a strict calisthenics workout program from the age of 3 though :lol

He has to live up to the name!

My girl says she wants to name her/our first daughter Daenerys. Not sure how to feel.:lol

It's too early to say, I think.

I've heard it's a popular name, but I wouldn't name a child after somebody whose story is unfinished.

A kid named Khal Drogo has to end up with a blonde wife named Dani and clap her cheeks while pushing her against a boulder on their wedding night.

If your wife wants to name your daughter Danerys, tell her you have no patience for Targaryeon Sympathizers.

If you're going to re-read the last two it's better to read "A Ball of Beasts". Once I read that I never went back to reading them as they were originally released.

It's free -- http://ballofbeasts.weebly.com/

this is the one that combines them right, I had this a couple years ago. never got to it since both books are 1200+ pages all that at one time would make my head spin

plus I don't like reading on ereaders, I like flipping the pages.

That kind of thing is happening. A girl I work with told me one of the kids in her son's preschool class is named Khalessi. True story.

Almost 150 babies in 2012 where named Khaleesi. smh

Her given name Daenerys is less popular :{

In the context of the show Khaleesi is the Dothraki word for "queen" or whatever their equivalent of a queen is. The name that actually sounds like a real name is less popular.

All the GoT names are getting more popular. Arya being the most popular and only one close to the top 100

Given that all my family members have D names, I wouldn't mind naming a potential daughter Daenerys

People that don't already know the name are going to get it right though.

Doesnt seem difficult. Only part they could mess up is the "Dea" part. Say "Dah" or "Dai" instead of "Dei"

To me and you it doesn't seem difficult, but people will see that it's not a tradition English name, so they'll pronounce it in horrendous ways. She will be living the Key & Peele substitute teacher sketch.

Im so glad Varys lasted this long cuz you never know with GRRM. Definitely my favorite back/midground character.

Just refreshed myself on Arianne, either they're going to extend it so somehow shes in next season but forgetting her all together is stupid

Some earlier comments confused me. I asked about the sand snakes and dude said they forgot Arianne. She's cousin to the sand snakes and close to Tyene but she ain't a sand snake herself.

Dorne seems like an amazing city-kingdom. Hope they show it in all its glory.

Yeah, Dorne is definitely an interesing place and very different from the rest of Westeros. Land of spicy peppers and spicy women. I hope the show will get deep into their history and the audience will learn why they still have royal titles for the princes and princess.

I just read up on Arianne and the 4 oldest of the sand snakes. That seems like a ridiculously important character to skip over. I bet her role is given to one of the snakes considering Myrcella was recast. So that story has to be important to the show.

Might messed up by not introducing Arianne by season 3 or 4. Now they won't have time for all that back story.
