i feel the same way

she dany cant have an affinity for ruling?

dany didnt guide the noble hands of mereen astapor and yunkai?

so its about being the most dishonorable to do business?

instead of breaking the wheel of dishonorable business altogether?
Maybe she ruled in the books, what I saw was dictatorship. Some historians argue that Saddam was what Iraq needed, we can agree to disagree.

so the biggest crime in westeros is to say one thing and do another

or how did you put it? "justify or rationalize immoral actions"?

when cersei, robert and bran, three rulers, did just that?

with no consquences

Would it be a waste of time to read the books if I've seen the show.

I've never read any of them.

fixed

all she wanted to do was end rape, feudalism, and slavery

terrible dictator

nobody said nothing in here about a NORTHMAN trying to rape right? i dont think so

She wanted to end rape for everyone but her soldiers.
She wanted to end feudalism for everyone but herself.
She wanted to end slavery but god forbid one of her servants decides they don't want to work for her anymore.

Stop caping. We aren't sexist. She committed genocide.

half her soldiers cant rape and the other half didnt because she outlawed that

i saw one of jon's soldiers going to rape tho

which "servant" did she kill for not serving her?

the only servant she killed tried to steal her dragons

oh and varys tried to poison her

she gave all the unsullied and dothraki a choice to follow her or go their own way

genocide? like robert and the children of KL? or cersei and the sept? bran and all the people he let die on his journey?

tyrion let off wildfire on stannis troops, that was ok too right?

I don’t think so. I’ve never read them, but my brothers have and I’ve talked to them about the books. There are some really big differences between the books and the show even before the show got ahead of the books. For example, Sansa’s story arc in the books is much different than what was depicted on the show. You also get a lot more detail and back story on characters.

Everyone should do more reading. Especially interesting and entertaining stuff like the got books. Some are better than others though.

But none of those characters ever pretended like they were on some moral crusade to save the world. Dany did and she was a hypocrite for it and that's why so many of us did not like her character. That's what you're missing here. We didn't hate her because she was a woman, we hated her because she was a huge hypocrite who at the end of the day pushed fake narratives for personal gain.

so tyrion wasnt a hypocrite going to her pledging to help and betraying her?

jon?

cersei wasnt a hypocrite to the faith pretending like she wasnt ****** jaime and lancel right?

robert wasnt a hypocrite killing children but not joffrey tommen and myrcella who werent his either right?

again, bran letting countless ppl die?

being a hypocrite is not punishable by death, only in her case

Besides Bronn, Davos another flea bottom dude that came up big from the mud, he didn't put in work this whole season except cooking/serving up some nasty food to the troops and telling them to man up when he didn't even swing his sword once during the battle. Didn't swing his sword in either of the 2 big battles and then waltzed in and had a seat in the dragon pit council at the end and ended up being appointed Master of Ships. You know he's the only 1 that's really going to be able to establish trade with The North/Sansa too so you know his pockets are going to be fat

But what about Ned Stark? Did he not hold people to the same standard?

the one who passes the sentence swings the sword

until you too "honorable" to swing and instead give her the chance to arrest you

and him exiling jorah instead of killing him
