She needs to sit back and let fans react how they must, the fans are entitled to their feelings and criticism, if this show had wrapped up beautifully and everyone was praised, she would be happy, so it goes both ways, plus no one is actually ****ting on anyone other than D&D...those clowns don’t deserve anyone’s respect as showrunners....they didn’t respect us as viewers, hell they didn’t respect their cast and crew.

Not the first television series to go from excellent to bad.. but it's hard to think of an HBO show that had such a drastic drop in quality that had sustained excellence for so long
I can think of a lot of things that could be said or done that are legit disrespectful, especially when remembering the internet is involved and people get their e muscles going.. not enjoying the ending to a tv program and signing an online petition basically saying such doesn't make the list
but a petition and/or unsubscribing from HBO seems to be the least disrespectful way to give voice to your dissatisfaction with their product

I think Spohie’s comments on the petition were overboard, but I’m somewhat willing to give her a pass. She’s young and basically grew up with the show being the biggest, most important thing in her life. We know that other cast members are like family to her. Considering those things, I can see why she’d be extra defensive of the show as compared to older actors who have done a lot more work. Plus, I bet some advisors will get in her ear and she’ll end up walking back some of what she said.

I didn't think the last episode was awful, only thing that really pissed me off, as always, was Sansa... I thought Bran was gonna slap fire outta here the way he was looking at her... but now. How's it look her being his sister and the only one talking about sovereignty. ***** should have died long ago.

I think her defensiveness also has a lot to do with her depression over comments she's received from people over the years. Now she sees the show itself under attack and so she's hitting back. I understand to an extent but some of her own castmates have been critical of the show too. So, it's not just people randomly hating.

She was probably around 14 when she started filming that show, thats Almost half her life. Surely there’s some emotional attachment there, not to mention the personal attacks she had to have read on social media everyday when she was hated.
“Fans” talk so much ish about athletes, actors, pretty much all entertainers on a daily basis but when they respond it’s an issue. And I’m not speaking on anyone in this thread cause we just bash the show not them personally, but go take a look at their IG comments every once in while
You’re right that there does have to be some level of professionalism in that business, but again her being 14 when it started filming probably makes her emotions different.

All this. Plus, I suspect the airing of the last episode may have some the cast, etc. feeling extra emotional because it brings a level of finality that wasn’t there before. Even after they were done filming the last season, there was still press tours, magazine photo shoots, conventions, etc. Now it’s really, really over. That’s gotta be a though thing to adjust to even without people being disappointed in the finished product.

If offending the writers was their main goal with the petition then make one for their upcoming Star Wars duties, not the show that's already done. Sansa and Greyworm are right to say what they said imo, a lot of people worked on the show behind the scenes and it's foul to say everything needs to be re-shot. Imagine someone telling you you got to come back to work because THEY think what you spent endless months shooting didn't please them. It's lame but that's what the internet and social media is all about these days, expecting results when at the end of the day no one owes you anything. It was your choice to watch it.
Finales are ALWAYS divisive, no matter what show it is. And I guarantee there will be a subset of people 10 years down the line that will be like "you know what, it wasn't all that bad" like they do with everything else. That's what people did with Lost once they coped with the fact their theories were never getting answered. The books will calm people's outrage, just gotta hope we're all alive when they drop.
