Arya's and Daenrys I find most interesting. Bran's story was barely touched on last season, Theons was more interesting than his, especially his trip back to Iron Isles. I'm Happy Bran is alive though

Yeah Dany too. I feel like if there is going to be one true king Bran would make the best one, even though he's just a kid he seems a lot more wiser to me than everyone else

I'm going to enjoy Cersei making faces at Margery for as long as it lasts

Priceless

Love how Tywin just laid it all on the table and straight up murked Tyrion..poor guy. First scene with the dragons 8). Translator :smokin. Good first episode.

Yeah to the 7 kingdoms (even though they been ignoring other messages), although I don't even remember from last season when he told him to do that unless it was originally when he told them to go back.

IIRC, I don't think they were sending messages to the 7 Kingdoms just yet. I think it was just to the Wall to keep them updated on their position and then to warn them of what's happening.

Don't click if you don't want to be spoiled.

I believe they start sending out ravens to the Kings when the wildings start assaulting the Wall.

so im guessing the fire, is literal or a metaphor. is it like the beacons in lord of the rings, when they lit the beacons on high mountain tops to call for aid??

8o 8o

i can't wait for the white walker storyline to become bigger.

The dude saying he was going to light the biggest fire was Mance, not anyone from the Night's Watch.

Glad this show is back!
I was unclear about what happened with Sam in the opening scene until I read some previous posts. I think that could have been done a little better,
other than that, great episode.
Felt bad for Tyrion, that was harsh! I'm looking forward to seeing how he handles this though.
I forget what they were called, but that slave army that is no longer men was crazy. It even tripped me out how the soldier said "this one..."

Does anyone know of a..."What you're allowed to read now" thing? 8o

Kinda like, pointing out the chapters of A Storm of Swords that were covered so far in the show.

It's like I wanna read it for the details, but I don't wanna rob the surprises or just be judging the show against the book.

Pretty happy at the premiere.

Margery was great.. looking forward to her character a lot.
The Tywin verbal beat down of Tyrion was brutal
Ser Barristan showing up was a cool surprise... I guess I should have seen it coming since they showed him in the "previously on.." segment.
Apparently there are also giants in this universe... no problem there.

Hopefully next week we can catch up with the other characters and see where they're all at.

Man I hate those "previously on" segments. They ALWAYS give away what's going to happen in an episode.

Don't forget Rickon and Bran still have their wolves too!  I want to ask the book readers if there's any chance we will see the wolves together w/Ghost anytime soon but that would probably give too much away

Could someone please give a bit of backstory on the tie-in between the warlocks and dragons/Targaryens?  I remember the warlock Khaleesi ?killed? in House of Undying and he mentioned something about the warlock magic being more powerful with dragons.....

Good job @ showing a clear visual of Davos's stubbed hand

Anyone notice the opening credits showing Winterfell up in smoke?

.......

I see Stannis and Khaleesi's storylines building up this season, seems as if they will eventually be fighting each other for claim after watching the season 2 finale again and the way their scenes ended.....just don't see it happening this season though

A few thoughts...

As stated the mental battle between maergry tyrell and cersei should be amazing. Two queens, former and future, that want power more than anything else are sure to collide.

I feel as if Jon Snow will eventually want to be a free man but was only saying it to appease Mance at the time. The whole white walkers external saga, of the moment, will be very interesting. Btw how do they turn the dead into wights?

I know that there are many stories already colliding but I would love to hear more about the people from Essos and Sorthoryos. (Hopefully in future seasons)

I would also like to see them show Bran the Builder and the Light God, along with the First Men and Children of the Forest fighting off the first White Walkers and erecting The Wall. Although I doubt it.

Btw maergry is :x and missandei is right behind daenarys :hat

Legendairy Stinson, delete your post. Don't need to mention it again.

I don't think much is known about the connection with the warlocks' magic and dragons except for what that guy said last season. Maybe because dragons are from Valyria which isn't too far from the Free Cities and now the 3 dragons are in that region. It is interesting though that the existence of dragons will boost their magic. I wonder if it also helped out Melisandre's powers or if R'hollor is the only source of her powers.

Weren't the Dragons eggs given to daenarys as a gift from farther east of Valyria? Like Asshai, where Meslisandre is from? It could be connected somehow.

I think illyrio from pentos said the eggs were from asshai

Pretty sure asshai will be further explained one day

Good catch. I didn't remember them being from Asshai. Maybe Melisandre was the one who popped those dragon eggs out. Seems like she can push anything out of that body of hers.

Lol, I doubt it unless Stannis and Dany would fight together, which is impossible unless either is ready to give the power to the other. Both believe they are the warranted leader.
