Quick question when Joff was having his little temper tamtrum at the small council meeting and he said oh my father was here fighting while u were hiding in Casterly rock

Was he talking about Robert or Jamie? At first i was like 8o then i thought oh maybe im making the statement bigger than it was

He was talking about Robert. This was "Robert's Rebellion" and the sack of Kingslanding. The Mad King had killed Ned's brother and father and Rhaegar had kidnapped Ned's sister who was betrothed to Robert which all led to the rebellion. Tywin was the Mad King's Hand but gave up his position and dipped back to Casterly Rock after Jaime was knighted as one of the Kingsguard. During the rebellion the Mad King kept sending word for help to Tywin which he never answered. Then Robert killed Rhaegar at the Trident and Tywin knew it was over for the Mad King and backed Robert and sent forces to Kings Landing.

I'd recommend those who haven't read the books to watch The History and Lore videos on YouTube. They provide a lot if great backstory.

Did Sansa overhear the conversation at the table? How did she know that her family was murdered?

That was my impression as well. However, a friend of mine brought up the fact that maybe when Tyrion walked into the room and she was by the window, he wasn't going in to break the news to her about her mom/brother, but instead to rape her under his father's strong suggestion, but realized he could never go through with that.

I just assumed word spreads quickly in King's Landing and it got back to her before Tyrion could tell her.

only thing i wasn't happy about was the way they sewed the wolf's head on Robb
that ***** was hanging on a thread literally...similar to a *****ty lace job u feel me
Realistic considering who did it. Those dudes don't know the first thing about sewing.:lol

can someone explain to me why ramses is torturing theon? that storyline has me a little confused
Pre Red Wedding the Bolton's were Stark bannerman. After Theon "killed" Bran and Rikon Ramsay took over Winterfell and captured Theon. Also he's really twisted and now its seems they want to use Theon in some way against the Iron Island. Maybe someone else has more detail but that's what I've gathered from the show and some reading of the books.

still dont' see how the iron islands play into the over competition for the iron throne...8o

also, stanis just joined team living to fight the white walkers. that leaves how many others to join team living? lanisters, team dragon...and who else?

After reading some of these comments, I guess you can't please everybody.

People do realize that this show is based on books and that the producers are not just making this up as they go along, right?

Seriously, it's probably the best show on TV right now right next to Breaking Bad so quit complaining...

Finale was great imo. Perfectly summed up storylines and set up for next season.

Joffrey is wild as hell for still trying to get off on Sansa. Wanting to serve her brothers head to her at his wedding.

Buddy is a different kind of evil :{

I'm not sure either but no one trusts Balon seeing he had already rebelled once. I think Tywin would much prefer keeping the Iron Islands in line or possibly having Bolton oversee them somehow. Their fleet of ships must be very attractive.

Plz post things like that in a spoiler lol jk
Lol, I think I see what you did there. If so, touché, lol

Question for the book readers, does Jon Snow ever get any info on who his mother was? I know the book isn't finished, but at this current point does he still long to know who his mother was?

Shoot me a PM please.

Some other thoughts I forgot to post last night:

The Hound is that dude, 3 v. 1 straight slaughtered them clowns :x :hat. I'm very excited to see where his and Arya's story line goes from here.

I'm also very excited to see where Jamie's story goes, if he goes against Bolton's word and tells his dad that it was indeed Bolton's men who chopped his hand off, yikes. The plot only thickens 8o

All in all, it was a very great season. Sad to see some of my fave characters go but that's the way it is I guess.... Can't wait for next season, Thrones has become my favorite show on television right now and I only expect it to get much better form here on out.

How strong are the Iron Men?

Yara only took 50 men with him to Dreadfort.

They're a rugged group. They don't call them Iron Men for nothing. I guess raiding and small invasions are their specialty.

She's building an empire obviously. Those slaves will be willing to die for her since she's shown that she actually respect them. What she's doing is brilliant.

Yeah but she's also responsible for them now. She has to house them, feed them, take care of them. Her goal is to claim her crown back in Westeros. Now she has a whole bunch of people who aren't soldiers and stil has to figure out how to get to the Seven Kingdoms. It would do her some good to actually listen to Jorah and Selmy once in a while.

She does need to kill time though. If she wants to control Westeros then her dragons will need to be close to full grown. Re-create what Aegon the Conqueror did when the Targaeryens first conquered the place.
That city was functioning just fine and will most likely continue to do so without Deanerys having to do anything different. Now she is a queen with a city and no longer a wandering nomad. When she met with the city's spokesperson she was offered ships that would take her back home. She just inherited those ships when the city was sacked. Like you said, killing time is exactly what she needs to do. For her sake I hope those 3 dragons are nowhere near finished growing. What trips me out the most about Deanerys character is she is very compassionate and doesn't appear to be the psycho her father was nor the idiot her brother was.

Word just spreads quickly when it's big or gossipy news in Westeros, especially in Kings Landing. It's why even the common folk know the rumors of Joffrey being a product of incest. Something like the death of the King in the North by the hands of House Frey at a damn wedding isn't gonna remain knowledge kept by only the important educated ppl.

Them crows be everywhere.

Buster Bluth, the Sealslayer.

Am I the only one who just loves Varys? As a character, the actor's portrayal, everything... he's just constantly great whenever he's on screen.

Without spoiling anything, obviously, is he portrayed any differently in the books? Or is it pretty much on the money?
