RM’s lack of depth is very apparent. After the league/CL double and a mid season World Cup players are burnt out. And then the issue is compounded with too many players having a lack of competition for their place. You need squad depth that you’re willing to properly use to prevent exhaustion and promote competition in your squad.

Carlo isn't promoting anyone, you know that, he'll give symbolic call ups to players and that it's. He's had two years to do that, not a single player has been implemented. It took being embarrassed in the champions league and his son convincing him to play Rodrygo, Fede & Camavinga. Carlo will escape criticism because he's a nice guy.

he looks like he’s been done since the balon d’ or. his class makes him effective still but can’t see him, modric, and kroos trying to keep up the level to play a full season. growing forward they all can still do their thing but defensively what little the midfielders had to offer before is really gone now especially when casemiro isn’t protecting them anymore.

Going forward is a bigger issue than defending, we had the ball the entire match, Mallorca did nothing but foul (29x), only had 4 shots, Nacho (OG). They will rely on Benzema, who is diminishing physically, Kroos and Modric are playing less & less. Fullback is already being addressed for summer. A new CM & Forward, and coach is needed.

right but the lack of clean sheets this szn is surprising with the players you have at the back and with courtois in the form of his life still. seems like a defensive midfield problem to me. but the offensive woes could be down to the midfield as well.
