Arsenal is the second or third biggest club in England

They had a low position in the table at the time, possibly in the 11-15 range iirc. It was a really common take to see people use them as the poster child for undeserved not merit based spot.

Euro final, WC Quarter, WC Semi

They’ve played pretty well in the big tournaments - US ain’t that 😂😂
But if you look at the context in how they reached those positions it exposes them

Last year's euros, most of their games were in England. They didn't have to travel as much as other teams. They essentially had home advantage. The final was on a platter and they fumbled it.

Both world cups, they had an easy path with easy opponents, then got exposed when they played a competent side.

For all the rumors he’s still repping AC Milan extremely hard.

I really just think he wants to get paid and get it over with.

Could be pretty lit though. Take the top finishers from the top continental club tournaments and let them duke it out for the club world cup. Scheduling issues aside, it sounds great on paper.

nashville sc we are coming for that ***!

I wouldn’t say they got exposed vs France. Saying they are just as garbage as the US is a VERY strong take 😂😂

Everyone can hate the super league but outside of England, these leagues are increasingly looking shaky.

Italian teams hav such a cultural, geographical and quality of life advantage over 99 percent of English teams yet the reality is they’re taking further and further behind financially.

With all the geopolitical stuff going on in Europe as well, hard to see them climbing out of these holes anytime soon.
