Worked out for him in Russia but that was at the peak of the most talented generation they'd had since '98. Don't think it'll work out again this time around...
Calling up any one of those names mentioned would've only benefited the squad and its depth IMO. They've got injury-prone forwards that are gonna be key players for them already so if another goes down, which wouldn't be surprising, they'll be in a real bad spot

Yeah, it kinda feels so weird to watch World Cup games at my work desk whenever I come back from different buildings. The weather is cold here. I was so used with watching World Cup games during warm weather days
At the same time, I am glad World Cup is happening. Work days are always slow for me in November/December

Could be doing it so that if he fails, he has an excuse to fall back on.
