Jude playing higher up allows us to press and win the ball higher, and since Jude drifts into the spaces a 9 occupies at times the fluidity of his role allows Mbappe to be more fluid as well. Seems Kylian doesn’t thrive as a 9 or a touchline winger, but someone who can drift around as he reads the game.

A big goal should be to get Tchouameni back to form, he is so smooth on the ball and we played out the back so easily today with him at CB, granted Asensio was in form I feel that Tchou’s passing prowess is key to help us build out the back, whether at CB or DM.

Kylian needs to string 3-4 good games to regain form confidence, he was ok/decent today but we’re going to Bergamo in what will be a pressure cooker of a game.
