From the name, the owner has to be Indonesian. Sad that he decided to downplay this as an Asian himself, but maybe he’s one of the anti East Asian Indonesians.
For clarity, most young “native” Indonesians and East Asian Indonesians get along these days, but there is huge discrimination against East Asians among the more wealthy/older generations, so I’m not too surprised that this guy doesn’t care about this incident.
