Kane looking a bit static, should be crashing the box each time Saka goes passed his man like that which feels like each time he gets the ball

Ok so it’s not Saka LWB. But they look a bit better today just going back 3 and having trippier higher up to hold width

Bellwingham has been effective, Southgate might have stumbled upon something

Need Kane to show more though, no reason to be in midfield whenever the wingers are running towards the box with the ball

First time England have looked in control of a game the whole tournament. Haven’t created many clear chances but that’s still an improvement.
Against a squad that dominated Italy last week, credit where credit is due. Best they've played in a long time

Now just wish Kane was on it :lol, gotta take advantage of Saka being in this mood

England brought Shaw who would solve most of their issues on the left right and are just letting him sit there.

Southgate gonna Southgate.

Will never not be surprised by how comfortable he looks out there while dictating the play for them man

It’s just been simple changes too. Keep trippier high and wide stop asking foden to be a winger and have him be on the right of midfield and Bellingham on the left of midfield swapping that lead to much better control. That and Mainoo of course being a real midfielder and not an experiment.

Canada plays a more attractive brand of football than 95% of the teams in the Euro Cup
Yea the only big teams who have played remotely attractive ball have been Spain, Germany and Netherlands to a lesser degree.

We've seen much better playing style from your Austrias, Turkeys, Georgias and Switzerlands than France, Portugal, England and Italy

I don’t get why these announcers keep complaining about foden and Bellingham dropping sometimes to pick up the ball and move along play are they just supposed to hang around Kane and not help the team move the ball.

The crowd is so bored that they look like those fake paper mannequins from a few years ago

Now that he’s not being managed by Pep, why doesn’t Phil Foden show off his prime Ronaldinho skills and creativity like he did in a 5 second clip against his friends in some back alley of Manchester? Why doesn’t Southgate bring on Grealish since he could potentially be the next Neymar?
