Still shocked he didn't get a second season.

Him and Kane in the same XI would've been nasty

I've been watching our trainings and preseason games. as sad as it is to say, it looks like mane lost his explosiveness to play at this top level anymore. that knee injury right before the WC accelerated his decline badly. he wasn't able to get by anyone with his dribbling/burst including our youth defenders. if we kept him for another year with him playing at this level, I doubt we could even sell him to saudi for a fee at that point. really sucks how things panned out for him here since I really wanted it to work out, but we had to get his 23 mill a year wages off the books asap since he couldn't perform near to that level anymore

Leagues cup is some bull**** when I found all the Mexican teams have to play away

Apparently that was LigaMX's decision. The MLS was open to traveling south. Hopefully next year we get away games.
Mexico NT on the same wave

adidas is killing it

mariner colors lookin sleek

seems premature to make a judgement during preseason especially on a talent like mane

bayern probably just needed money for the kane transfer

naw it was already evident that his explosiveness was declining the last year at pool, then the 2nd half of the season post injury last year was bad. he couldn't go past any defenders anymore. premier league panel mentioned it last year and said his athleticism was going away fast and that's probably why klopp chose to let him go over salah. he saw the writing on the wall. we announced a couple months ago we allocated a 150m net spend this summer. currently we're at a +$50m net spend on transfers, so currently can spend up to 200m available

Klopp didn't let him go. He chose to leave. Liverpool moved him into the striker role with Diaz moving into the LW role. Bayern didn't see the decline and tossed the bag at him.

yeah but klopp/pool board didn't push as hard to keep mane as they did with salah and getting an extension done. regardless, brazzo definitely didn't see the signs of decline and it's one of the biggest reasons he got sacked

His Salary demands weren't realistic. If the Club didn't give into Salah's, they definitely wasn't going to give into Mane's. Then Bayern came in and offered significantly more(even more than what he asked for from Pool). Then turned around and said would the real Sadio please stand up, cause this isnt Sadio. Bayern dealt with this horribly.
