Was out all day, just caught the highlights now and I have a few take aways.
Chelsea’s personnel is built for a back 5, but the attack looks so much better with a back 4. Poch is gonna have to make some tough decisions at CB, idk if Silva at this age can really play in a back 4.
Jackson/Nkunku/Mudryk have injected some much needed life up front. I also like the kid Angelo from Brazil.
And lastly, it’s still clear to me that Sterling and Gallagher are not up to it. At least Gallagher is scoring, but both in possession are very poor. Idk how many minutes Cucurella is gonna get either at LB, he’s the 3rd best on the roster and Hall can deputize there if needed.
Hopefully they let us buy these shirts without the sponsor, they look so clean on pitch

Arsenal really blew the Mbappe transfer bag on Rice/Havertz. If they still had that money to spend, they would be the most attractive non Real Madrid option. I don’t understand how anyone rated those guys who respectively lead their teams to 12th & 14th place in the prem last season.
