I wonder what Graham Potter could do with a top tier club. Brighton not only plays exciting football under him, he gets results too.
It's nice to see clubs like Brighton and Brentford play such exciting football

Unfortunately no. I was looking at potentially going to Inter Milan at Lazio in the Stadio Olimpico but it conflicts with our itinerary :frown::ohwell:

Stadium sucks. You aren’t missing much.

Make sure you go to Trastevere while in Rome. BEST authentic Roman food.

Not the tourist price gouging restaurants near the attractions (Spanish Steps, etc.)

Rione 13 :pimp:

Yeah, the food near tourist attractions in Rome is garbage. Probably some of the worst Italian food I’ve ever had on the planet

Bantz Lord T Bantz Lord T also I highly recommend going to any sights/attractions EARLY in the morning. I took my girl to Rome recently and the summer crowds were a nightmare. Trevi Fountain was almost packed at 7 AM…the Colosseum and Pantheon start getting crazy packed around 10 AM-onwards

My 5 months in Rome were insane.

I never even went inside the Colosseum or the Pantheon while there.

I really tried to do “as the Romans do”. So much so that I got in a physical fight with a car rental owner who was trying to scam me while my ex visited me.

Then he said he was going to get his family to kill me. I told him “I’m from Trastevere, we don’t hide MFer”.

I’m glad Italy let Uber back in (you can order taxis through the app now) because the past few times I’ve been, I’ve had to constantly be on guard /argue with scammer taxi and transfer drivers.

Drivers in Portugal always try to help you, but the rest of Southern Europe is just infested with scammers starting from the moment you step out of the airport :lol

He kept my drivers license too. But the $30 loss of my drivers license was better than the $750 scam he tried to pull.

Sucks because his employee was a cool Angolan African dude I spoke Portuguese with and rented from before, but he wasn’t there that day.

Owner thought I was a tourist he could push over.
Yeah, don't let anyone take advantage of you like that.

FTR I wasn’t some deranged prick who initiated the fight.

After I told him I wasn’t paying for it and insulted him a little bit….

He got in his feelings and threw my book bag and said “let’s go outside” …

It was fair game after that. (He knew he couldn’t call the cops, especially with my ex witnessing all of it).

Scammers are everywhere. Barcelona, Paris Rome, etc. But this was a car rental place.

I loved driving in Italy man. Absolutely loved it. Driving in Rome is CRAZY. I thrived.

But driving to Positano (Amalfi Coast) will really TEST your abilities. My American roommates with their sensibilities were scared AF thinking I couldn’t pull it off.

Driving in Rome is nuts, I remember this 4 lane turnabout that had like 7 lanes of car. The drive from Milan to Florence was one of my favorite drive in Europe

Man idk how you do it  The further south you get in Italy, the crazier the drivers are. The concept of car lanes and private lanes for trains in Rome are just suggestions. I swear the scooter drivers in Naples want all pedestrians dead.

I’m used to seeing crazy driving when I go to Southeast/South Asia, but I don’t personally drive there for that specific reason  Driving in Chicago already makes me upset (this place has some of the worst and most dangerous drivers I’ve ever seen in the US), driving in those conditions would give me severe anxiety and anger issues

That’s the turnabout below Huge Roman Capitol Building or parliament building with the two huge Italian flags.

I know what you’re talking about.

Yea I drove everywhere in Italy. From North to South. Loved it.

Yea I heard driving in Asia is nuts too.

yeah driving in Italy is crazy, first think i saw was a guy on a scooter cutoff a cop and give him the middle finger. None of this compares to seeing how people drove in Kenya late 90's early 00. I will still never get behind the wheel of a car there

Had a gun pulled on us in Rome once (armed pedestrian pulled up to our Fiat and put a gun to my window, my old man quickly drove off so nothing happened) and almost got mugged walking back from the casino to my hotel in Barcelona.

Can’t let your guard down in any big city. Especially if you’re a tourist.

I’ve never been but I hear Greece is crazy with the scamming too. On the islands.

Charging $850 for a meal for two and pick pocketing.

You’re kind of right sfc415 sfc415

When comparing Portugal to all the other Southern European countries, not much scamming going on. The Portuguese people are different.

It’s almost like the Portuguese people feel honored you’re visiting their country and they go out of their way to help you.

That was a great point.

(But, it also could be due to the fact that Lisbon and Porto are so small in population when compared to Rome, Madrid, Barça, Paris, etc)

I’m watching Gomorrah right now too :lol

The drivers in Portugal were cool and helpful. Minus two and Uber got me my money back.
