Im a warriors fan but some of yall be the biggest drama queens I know. If he wasnt stupid enough to pull the Amare trade, then he isnt purposely throwingtalent away. This team is stacked with undersized guards and talent so it doesnt even matter if we let him go. We all saw it coming. That's true, in the standpoint that Marco wouldn't get a lot of PT here. But there's no reason to trade him with the team option we have, andthere's absolutely NO reason at all to trade him for Devean freaking George.

Basically, we gave away a 1st round talent away for a bag of peanuts. Hell, maybe not, even a bag of peanuts is more useful than Devean freaking Georgenowadays...

you're missing the main point about why everyone is upset. instead of getting picks, we got DEVEAN GEORGE. we could have gotten more value for the guy.

I'd rather have wasted talent than no talent at all.

It's not just this one deal that Warriors fans are frustrated with. It's the accumulation of a ton of questionable front office decisions in the pastcouple of years.

Did you even read what I typed in the Warriors thread? If you didn't, here it is again.

Just because we don't "use" him, that doesn't mean that we should trade away talent for trash. I'm pretty sure you would agree with me when I say we could have got a package better than Devean George. Marco was one of our "trade ammunition" we had on this team. By trading him away for the utter and pure trash that is Devean George, we're wasting our "trade ammunition" to get better players that could actually help us. With that attitude of "oh, we'll just trade away Belinelli for trash... no biggie," we're going to run out of trade pieces that could be added to a potential trade to get an even better package than Devean George.

That's the difference between Belinelli getting a DNP and George getting a DNP.

And just like others have said, injuries do happen. It's better to be a deep team than... well, you know.

not trying to defend it, just dont see it as big of a deal as you guys are blowing it up to be. Everytime i look into the Warrior thread, its just a bunch ofmad Warrior fans too mad to talk about basketball and talk about white chicks and avys.

Some of you guys just find things to stay mad about because of aninjury plagued season (the Maggette situation i understand cause that was the stupidest thing ive ever witnessed in NBA history). The core is still young witha bunch of talent, even if we sent one out for nothing...

Like I said, it's a big deal when your front office has been making questionable move after questionable move leading to us missing out on theplayoffs 14 out of 15 years. Just because we still have a young core of talent, that doesn't give the front office the right to make questionable movesthat doesn't make any sense.
