jesus christ this post. this isn't true at all
spain was just so-so until like 5/6 years ago when they started experiencing success
latin american countries have respected spain, but countries like brasil, argentina, chile, etc have never played down to spain
and the whole mother country/inferiority thing is kinda unnecessary here. none of these players are all like "yeah guys we're playing the mother country today. oohh scary." no one refers to spain as the "mother country." that's all you man
