Official Fallout 4 Thread - Release - 11.10.15

imo, perception and charisma are useless.

Yes, they unlock different skills, but in comparison to the other skills? nah.

perception, basically, allows you to see things on the map (less realistic anyway)

charisma, basically, allows you to talk your way out of things....which is cool, but at the same time...nah.

I typically put skill points in my speech whenever i need to complete a speech command. Buying items is useless in the grand scheme of things, so why worry about haggling for better prices?

endurance is the only other special besides the aforementioned 3 that i bother leveling.

It makes it harder to kill you, basically.

I always made sure to max out luck in new vegas. I'd kill it at all the blackjack tables :lol

And me personally I always level up my speech cause that's how you get a lot of free stuff.

Mysterious Magnum :hat

Super low intelligence and speech gave some awesome conversation choices though.

well, if your intelligence is maxed out, you can use the extra skill points to level speech. My speech would be high in new vegas for getting unique weapons and access to certain areas. not as important, but just as easy to level as gun (mine would be 99)

I just wouldn't use special perks to upgrade charisma, especially ONLY for speech.

The Chinese Stealth Armor with the modded out Katana combo > *

oddly enough, i never gambled in any of the fallout games.

mysterious magnum was illy, the music that played when you pulled it was :hat

I never finished Fallout 3. I was at 90% done though. Maybe 60%. I want to try but mane the loading times on it are horrendous.

yeah, loading times in their games suck in general....

Fallout 3 felt very flat, almost 2-d to me, i think i was about 90% done, too.

I got into new vegas after playing skyrim pretty hardcore, so I was impressed with the textures and design of the game, seeing how it was older than skyrim, but, imo, superior.

1 more hour!

Routing traffic through New Zealand to get in 20 hours early.

I loved Fallout 3

I beat the main storyline and was so mad I couldn't go back to do all the side missions

1 more day and I'm off Wednesday

That annoyed me as well. I wonder if Fallout 4 is gonna do the same.
