And the point of you posting this is? Back spasms vary from person to person. Amare might have wanted to play but the training staff wisely sat him out. As soon as they said he had back spasms I said that they have to sit him out. Your spine locking up is a defense mechanism and telling you to relax. Everyone's body is different and everyone tolerates pain differently.Originally Posted by miamib30514
Chris Bosh returns after tweaking back
Associated Press
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Add Chris Bosh to the Miami Heat's growing injury list.
HEAT INDEX
We've taken our talents to South Beach. Check out the Heat Index.
Bosh went to the locker room because of back spasms in the first quarter against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night. He returned in the second quarter.
Bosh landed awkwardly after grabbing a rebound and limped off the court holding his left hip. He was replaced by Juwan Howard.
Bosh's injury is only the latest for the Heat.
Udonis Haslem's season might be over after surgery this week to repair a torn ligament in his left foot, Mike Miller isn't expected back until after Christmas because of a broken thumb and ligament damage, Dwyane Wade has been playing through a sprained left wrist, and LeBron James has been dealing with a shin problem for a couple weeks.

OK...since you're a sensible Knicks fan, how do you explain this if there aren't any expectations for the playoffs?
