I was at one of my local places to have something checked in the Bentley system because it was drawing too much power from the batteries, and after lookin at some stuff I decided to finally do the G......

thats pretty clean the way they did that, i would just get 1 or 2 subs so that would def be possible and they wouldnt have to remove the spare tire like in that one since mines on my back door....I never thought of that idea...would the cover on top of the subs affect the sound of the bass?

Naw...the cover is vented so the sound doesn't get muffled.


AutoDesign NYC did the work in that rover..i've never used them, but heard great stuff about the shop.

Call them up and see what they can do for you..

8 speakers? you don't need that many..just the front and rear doors

You can bring the stuff with you and have them install it.

good lookin monday, Im nearly positive ive got 7 or 8 speakers tho, theres like 3 in the dash for surround sound, 1 in each door and then 2 more in the back cargo area, and the sound in the stock system is horrible...

Yeah, manufactures are known to just stuff speakers everywhere..that's why it sounds bad...in a perfect setup, you would only have 6 speakers total

2 mids , tweeters, and a sub.

2 sets of components on 100w each should be more than enough for you...

I see you recommended these aftermarket component speakers throughout the thread. At my local shop, they have these $90 Infinity's and $100 MB Quart's. Can't remember the model names for either

Would you say the Phoenix Gold set is better?

lol aiight. I have a '94 honda accord. I'm tryna get an amp and some subs later on.

You say sundown amp's are pretty good? I've had my eye on http://powermaxelectronics.com/products/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=49&idcategory=10the "sundown 125.2" but if there's anything a lil cheaper but still great let me know.
