And Lil B should send his producers to Nas, Talib Kweli and Canibus, then catch the world's greatest fade
Em has been trash since 2004. That's 12 years.Taylor Swift etc are horrible.
Prime Em (98-03) was amazing though.
I don't mind white rappers at all. It's really the media and mainstream fans who take it and run with it. The worst appropriators are the Pop stars.
Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry,Especially Miley and her whole "twerking" thing. Look at her hopping on the "LBGT" wave now that the black "ratchett" wave has bored her.
Bieber and Cyrus will be beloved by mainstream white america again in no time. They've already started their PR run smh.

Cats kill me with this. That's part of what makes an artist who he is, his ear for music. If Nas, Talib, and Canibus choose to rap over wack production, then that reflects their artistry.
I can't relate, and I find his voice painful to listen to.
Oh okay, in that case I understand it.
they're just using dames word adding it to any white rapper they dont like,
but dame was really talking about the people running the music industry just profiting off our music not really caring for these rappers well being and not showing them how to manage their money properly
It's mainly dudes on here who throw that term around for any music act that isn't centered around negativity.Oh okay, in that case I understand it.
Because I had this discussion with my brother just now about this. The whole culture vulture is a hot take that's thrown around a lot lately, and i'm like what culture? The same culture that pushes someone like Future to the forefront who celebrates harmful drug use? I just feel like our "culture" attaches itself to and takes pride in so much meaningless stuff and proclaim it as our culture.
White girl wears braids "Look! she's a culture vulture" White girl who twerks "She's stealing culture look at her" just silly stuff like that.
WHAT?! That's not what I was trying to do at allYou seem to be combining to different sides of the same thing "culture vulture" and appropriation...to make that tired "black people need to do better" argument.
Using black struggle/stereotypes to prosper.
I got a question.
When we talk about white rappers / white pop artist etc. being culture vultures what culture are they actually stealing?
I think the braids thing holds more merit because black women really aren't allowed to/are judged for wearing braids/their natural hair in the workplace and army and **** meanwhile when white women start doing it, it's trendy and edgy.
Oh okay, in that case I understand it.
