That's the thing though, I've noticed a lot of NT'ers don't respect geographics. This usually stems from dudes having limited access to culture so they can only judge things online from their LOCAL perspective. You can pretty much tell who's well traveled or cultured by their questions and responses.
Rocking a Boosie fade will get you laughed at in a lot of states, but if you laugh at Boosie's fade in Louisiana you're bound to get clapped up. Just like laughing at someone's accent from Compton. Or coming to New York and be like "y'all talk funny". If you watch that VICE interview with Young Chop he's never even been to downtown Chicago.
So if dude telling you homegirl not hot like that, I'd be more bound to listen to his opinion than a person like Timbaland with invested interest. Last time somebody got crazy co-signs was 50, or Little Brother? Not sure but what I heard from her was a dope flow and pretty
strong song writing ability. In this day and age that is really lacking, especially for a 19yr- old. I see why Timb is going crazy, it's
way easier to push her into the limelight with what she provides. I mean was Logic blowing up in the DMV like that before he
got on?? Macklamore was know in the city but when he blew I don't think anyone would have predicted it would have been him
to blow so crazy.
I suppose I agree that having a buzz in your own city means you put in the groundwork, and made your name known. But
there are plenty of artist who have done that and can't even sell out shows in their city. We all know what type of music is
moving in the Chi, and that doesn't really fit her mold. Tink

Tink is head and shoulders above most current urban musicians. Male or female. I first started listening to her in 2012 or 2013 when she was featured on a Lil Herb and Bibby track. Sasha Go Hard, Katie Got Bandz, Dreezy, their all nice.
I like the fact that it's going to bring competition with Nikki Minaj for better overall music. Angel Haze, Azealia Banks, Iggy, Dej Loaf, etc. All of these women are supremely talented and unique. They're definitely better than this crop of male emcees we have. But man, I knew Tink would be a star from day one. She actually KNOWS how to make a song. She's effortless with her sound. She's also a GORGEOUS woman who has sex appeal, and seems to be true to herself. She's not some walking weird science experiment like the Nikki Minajs or Kim Kardashians with all those plastic surgeries and insecurities. Saw the Noisey Chiraq documentary and she said she was a choir singer, and was a songstress first, and only started rapping at the urgency of her brother.
As far as region, I'm glad ol' boy from Chicago said she's not buzzing in his city. That goes to show how limited his thought process is. I was born and raised in South Florida but, I never liked any of the musicians here. I tolerate them but, I know what I really enjoy. Not everyone from a region is going to like their homegrown talent. Case in point, Ace Hood. He grew up in Broward County Florida and is a complete trend hopper, unoriginal follower. Listen to his earlier records, til now. This guy wasn't fashionable, but now all of a sudden, he's in designer apparel and foreign rides. Guys stealing his flow? Like Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Kool G Rap, KRS One, or DMX never existed... The Efffouttahere you animated character
