For someone about to join Coinbase, better to just get in ASAP or wait for a dip?
I'd put in now. If it dips, buy more.
Other than a few YouTube videos that were posted many pages ago, where does one research/learn how to analyze the charts and data?x2
A lot people have waited forever for the right dip to buy in for BTC.
If you're trading, there is more potential to make more money with altcoins than waiting for the dip.
I, unfortunately, had an open position yesterday during the mass sell off. Now I HODL for the recovery before resuming my day trading.
Lesson learned. Next time I will monitor BTC growth closely to spot another bull run and try to predict a potential future sell off for altcoins.

How far did you guys go to create anonymity in your accounts? Some sources suggest you should setup new email, new twitter, new reddit, new everything accounts so that nothing can be tied back to your actual identity. They also suggest using a PC that you've never identified yourself on, that was never owned by anyone else before you, etc.
Did you all go that far?

Or is it just safer to keep it on a hardware wallet since it is "yours" ?

Some things are worth more than money, and my identity and wallets being linked to the blockchain defeats the purpose for me if you ever have to trade or cash out
If the government finds a way to regulate one day, that's fine. But giving a private company that power doesn't make sense to me.I mean things are gonna get regulated sooner or later so why not put ur info. Why are you hiding?

They ask for more info than you need for a US bank account.
