it seems like there is a snowball effect happening with people who dont know nothing about crypto other than the word BTC who see the news about BTC rising to 10k are just running out and buying BTC because everyone else is doing it and they dont want to miss out on the money

That’s exactly what is happening. Those people will be selling it on the first dip and the smart ones will be buying it from them. Main reason I try to warn people to not just dive in blindly. If you want to have exposure fine, nibble with chase size and add in on the eventual dip.

yup and thats what im going to wait on. You dont buy in when its this high and what history has shown on BTC there is definitely a crash coming soon, it has never been this high in such a short time span.

That’s what I would do. Determine your risk tolerance and decide to buy either 1/3, 1/4 or max 1/2 of it right now. Leave yourself room to take advtange of the inevitable pullback while not missing out on potential gains.

I used to sit in marvel at people who were old and wise enough for the dot com boom, people who had the foresight to short everything during the financial collapse, and promised myself to be ready for the next big thing.
