I'm saying outside of litcoin, bitcoin, ETH I didn't know much. I've known about bitcoins since around the time it got started

I looked up cryptocurrencies and didn't know they had so many. Not gonna dive in full but I did research and help of others in here and see ETH is legit which is why even with what I've lost, I'm still up. I'm holding regardless just like an stock, it has its up and downs. If you're concerned about possibly losing money then you shouldn't be investing a single cent into this

 awesome man!  i also trade on GDAX, that is the exchange for coinbase and i keep 2 separate pots.  1 pot is my lifetime holdings which i never touch and the 2 pot is what i trade with to add to my lifetime holdings.  good luck trading!

Enter card or checking info, buy coins.

There are other people that can chime in with multiple methods but this is the basic option i went with.

as of now any resident in NY cannot buy ETH.  i think fapmaster mentioned it in the thread, just look back some pages. this thread is not that long

Thought it was gonna drop lower. My buddy was gonna buy quite a few and I told him to wait because I assumed it would keep going down but you can't predict this ****

if bitcoin hardforks which is bound to happen soon, ETH will be a winner for the short term. at that point ill decide to sell or keep my profits and enter BTC (or soon to be BTCC) at the lowest point i can catch

Similar to a stock split. Cut the price in half to double the amount of coins in circuit.

Too much potential confusion if people are buying the wrong coin out of ignorance.

yes lots of new investors who are not educated in the crypto space will assume BTU is the real bitcoin when it is BTCC

sorry, i was away on vacation (weekend).   i'm not sure if you all are daytrader or looking to profit long term (that is my situation)....but you really need to learn to buy the dips.  900 btc....33 eth this past week....set ur alerts and if ur long term hodler, these fluctuations don't matter.  **but like i said, i'm no daytrader....if i was, i'd probably have a heart attack by now! LOL.  Like i've mentioned in the past...the technology is at its infancy, and by this summer you're all going to see big movements in not only btc/eth but altcoins (waves, lisk, etc).

**By the way, look at my recommendation of Lisk....it is up over 30% this past week!! Lets get it!!

So forking is basically just 2 different ledgers with both parties thinking that their ledger is right, and since only one ledger can be correct then one has to go? Kind of like what happened with Ethereum and Ethereum classic or....?

Does it have the potential to hit dollars? That's not something bad to invest in since it's so cheap
