Got me going nuts in my room right now.

Found it cool he puled this track out the grave and sampled it for R.E.M. This whole Mixtape is fire..

I usually don't smile when listening to music, but just hearing how great this project turned out, had me extra excited..

I'm glad to see real hip hop is finally slipping back into the mainstream spin, nothing huge yet because corporatism is a powerful force(money), but we have kendrick lamar covering mags, on the radio, building an insane fan base and just destroying the game. But most of all, many people will call him a respectable rapper, a balanced artist, he gives you everything you need in one package(pause).. Krits building that also, along with stalley and others.. Hopefully in a few more years, our Wiz k's, rick rosses, lil waynes, will be pushed to the side to make room for rappers that make hits that people want to listen to, and also provide vivid descriptions of environments, and release powerful and cultural information that the masses need to hear.

Don't throw the boy Wiz under the bus...

...I agree with everything else you typed though.

And to be honest, it was bound to happen...

...on a random side note - the chick talking on the beginning of "Serve This Royalty" is from here:

Strongly recommended to those who haven't seen it....

Maybe i should listen to Stalley more, cause I instantly go into a coma when he starts to rap. I agree with Melo's point though. Would love for that mainstream yet substance-filled pendulum to swing back around finally

finishing up listening right now

I normally save judgement until after I hear it a couple times since I almost never like music after the first listen

as i whip my lac round the corner, i almost crashed when "king with out a crown" dropped. this tape is amazing

It was straight, first listen judgment I'll say it's my least favorite project from KRIT. That'll definitely change though. That Cody Chesnutt sample on "Serve This Royalty" :hat

Dawg, I sat in the Publix parking lot and ran that back 3 times in a row today.  Then I took the long way home so I could hear it some more.  **** is phenomenal.

Got home and my wife was confused because I was gone for so long and only came home with cheese, hash browns and biscuits for dat breakfast dinner.

Yo what's Krit's paypal? I need to drop him directly $15.

F*** Def Jam

This dude's harmonizing >>>>>>

Banana Clip Theory :hat :hat :hat

You guys do realize his Mixtapes have a lot of samples?

I'm sure he would love to but everything doesn't get cleared and or may be out of budget.

It's not all def jams fault.

Do yall think Kanye uses more samples or Krit? Because that whole "it may not be in the budget" thing sounds like BS to me. I pretty sure Def Jam has the money to clear the samples

why would they put all that $$ into samples on something that isn't even gonna sell?
