I agree with this. Got a chance to bump this about 6 times through and I dig it. These changes would have made this a damn near classic, but I'll chalk it up to DJ. The last three tracks are awesome and more of what I look to hear from KRIT. Praying Man is FLAMES!

I didn't like the album as much as I like his mixtapes but I still supported off the fact he gave us three solid mixtapes.

Praying Man is one of the best songs I've heard in the last few years.  He really pushed the envelope with that song in so many ways, including the content, the B.B. King feature, and the complete blues vibe.

LFU300MA also has to be one of my favorite intros of all time that doesn't actually have rapping on it...

i can agree with you on some of the album changes tho... the edits I made I think would have made the album waaaaay better

off top...Cool 2 Be Southern, What Ya Mean, Porchlight all gotta go.

then the direction and theme of the album could have had better balance.... I understand what he was trying to do by going with more uptempo, youthful songs to ward off the "boring" talk but I think he left tooo much of the stuff that garnered all the interest in him as an artist off.

but I gotta give him props on the production tip...even tho I think its the least enjoyable album of his four, the fact that he crafted the whole thing with minimal sampling is a feat in itself

Love the "Players Ballad" mention. That song is rarely mentioned but is one of dopest songs on an already loaded Return of 4Eva.

Bought the album but I still think it's not very good. I only play 4-5 tracks off it. Unlike 4EvaNaDay that I could play all the way through.

Album disappointed me.  I appreciate KRIT for his more introspective storytelling songs (Package Store, King Freestyles, Children of the World, etc). I felt like they're could have been more of that on this album. To many of the songs revolve around the same content and are almost interchangeable lyrics wise.
I'm not going to blame him though, I know this is of the label's doing, just like Roc Nation did with Cole.  It's sad we live in a day you gotta dumb down your music in a attempt to sell, hopefully his next project will be better.

Like most said, I think the fact he had to tone down a lot if not almost all of the sampling, has a lot to do with why I/we are disappointed in the album. Combine that with the fact that it was his major label debut on Def Jam. 



I liked the project, but it's his weakest one out of the four major mixtapes/albums he's dropped IMO.

Naw I said that I feel like Return of 4eva was his best but that Live... is on par with his other two projects.  But once again, I know I'm in the minority here especially since most people in here seem to like K.R.I.T. Wuz Here the most of his projects.

But yeah, I could do without Porchlight as well.  But I feel like Country Rap Tunes is one of K.R.I.T.'s most generic joints.  It was just unremarkable to me.  Also, I was only looking at possible replacements from 4eva And A Day and not his previous projects.  Package Store and Down And Out are great as well but no love for Handwriting??

Im a big fan of Krit but Ive listened to this album over and over and Im just not feeling it at all, "Money on the floor" is the only track I @#$% with. R4 still remains my favorite project from him.

It's a shame too.
KRIT does such nice sample work with his production and it was just so different than all his mixtapes. Damn.
