OFFICIAL BASKETBALL VIDEO GAME THREAD ||

Gameplay with people that actually know how to play basketball.

serious questions watching this what makes you think they know how to play basketball? other than dude having an nba podcast

this is nothing spectacular esp Co-op vs AI let alone legends vs current lakers LOL

i see some one playing what looks like 12mins qrt and who knows what difficulty highly doubt superstar or HOF and doing the same thing people do in mycareer..... Rim Run/ISO and fastbreaks off of corny animations

1st video they show what is so special other than the User Turboing with the ball while the defender who is (DeAndre Ayton) gets blown by because well ya his speed aint nowhere close

2nd video is MJ doing nothing to reaves while he easily dunks in contact LOL

3rd is MJ doing the same attacking reaves

4th let go of LT and go around your defeder.. in this case it was Wilt vs Maxi Kleber LOLOLOL

5th just reading a easy lane steal

6th Kobe corner 3.. prolly easiest shot in game

7th KObe ISO vs Dalton Knecht

i can keep going but you get the point

its just abusing the broken mechanics and horrible defense nothing in this gameplay to me shows that they know how to play basketball.. 2k is just a super easy game and always was

current lakers team had no paint presence all game

Ended a 17 game streak in the park. I shot 5/5 with 3 3pointers made shooting 100%

Thank you for the 10k VC

Good breakdown.
Stuff that goes unnoticed.

That "invisible wall" must be for the WNBA mode because in the Rec, you got to damn near be fouling a shooter to get a good contest. And foot planting feels waaay better on NBA 2k26 than NBA 2k25 imo.

Having alot of fun playing this year. Just gotta get a better hang of playing defense. Comp players feel un-guardable in 3v3's.

If anyone needs a crew feel free to join. We only lvl 9 currently but its not many of us. The more the better

I will never boot you like these other ignorant crews

Basically got it free. Traded in a ton of stuff I wasn't playing/planning on playing anytime soon.

Gotta agree this the most fun/best build I've had in a long time. The movement is everything this year. Made a 6'11 modified crafty walking bucket smh nasty with the right lineup.
Only complaint is the defense/contest.
And I know I've faced them b4 but last night I had to guard a zen user (avg 37ppg) and I was dead *** ready to quit smh 10 of 11 from 3 9 of those hands up contested crazy

Shooting way too easy. Defense is non existent.

I’m shooting 75% from 3 dropping 22 a game in the rec.

Rec is on easy mode though just like park. SUPER easy to shoot lol

Only time i ever miss is when i dont get my Rhythm shooting animation

The real test is proving grounds on HOF and im still shooting lights out in that. This is me going in solo and VSing other teams of 5 most the time

Post yall stats

Its hit or miss for me cause Ive seen defense be played in the purple/red plate lobbies and make those 7’4s completely useless

Shooting is easy for y'all. Granted I haven't played since 2K24, I can't get consistent shots off with the Rockets online or off. Most likely because I don't know the forms yet.

Turned off the shot meter and it helped a bit but lost every online match so far.

Can hardly stay in front of a offensive player as well on defense lol.

Use rhythm shooting. It makes more sense to me.

2nd build I made. Once I get my 5th cap breaker will be sitting at an 81 3 ball too. Second 5 I get I’m pushing the perimeter defense to 91. I picked playmaking as the build specialization.

In theory Defense would be better but I didn’t feel like grinding that. But after 10 cap breakers, a completed specialization and crew rewards it will be a pretty complete all around guard.

Will be able to guard 1-4 and play 1-3 Effectively.

1. Never claimed it was anything spectacular or amazing.

2. I don't think using ISO is "anti-sim." Isos happen in real life, especially when there is an offensive (matchup) advantage.

WHen I say he knows the game, I am referring to knowing the players, their tendencies, and how to use them on the court.

I don't view what he was doing as anything close to what you would see with those dudes online.

Man I need help and more people to play with.

Anyone that has at least average basketball IQ and want to run Pm me.

My Play Now Online record is still trash, but been winning a bit more in recent matches.

Think it's currently glitched because I haven't been earning points yet for the wins.

Still haven't started MyCareer yet either.

Park is a absolute disaster this year. I had to play the 25 games 3v3 park as a crew and man believe me i hold my own but in no way shape or form is it fun.

These people on here only know 1 thing and its FADES. After we beat them i get on and talk my stuff every time

As you see gold in proving ground 5v5 and red plate. I dont need to cheese my way to wins like majority of 2k players

They take away fades and i think ppl will be totally lost on how to play
