classic example....da CTS-V does MORE and it cost LESS.
Cadillac won by the skin of its teeth and all the participants walked away happy. Cadillac has made aCTS-V that can best the BMW M5 for likely the cost difference of a ChevyMalibu, while BMW knows its 3-year-old M5 is still close competition for the newest CTS-V. I'msure BMW will be glad to raise the bar again with the next M5, but for now the V is king.

American cars will NEVER be on the same platform with imports/German cars. Will the performance and new improvement on interiors be there? yes, maybe butoverall they are still not on the same platform as imports/Germans.
When someone wants a new econo vehicle for the family, whats the cars that come to mind? Toyota Corolla/Camry, Honda Civic/Accord, Nissan Altima/Maxima.
When someone wants a luxury car, they got straight to Lexus, BMW, or Benz.
American cars are almost always a second option, and a good deal is presented, then they are bought. Unless of course you want a certain car such as a Camaroor Stang.
