That's actually a legit DeLong jersey released in the years before Nike had the rights to Michigan authentic uniforms. I had a size 42 or 44 in this Webber purchased directly from Eastbay. Michigan name and numbers screen printed. Retail authentics were not sold with the player's name. Along the way someone (possibly the seller) thought it would be a good idea to sew in letters.

I've seen a ton of the yellow nike authentics go over $300. I'm not sure if the purple is more rare or not but I'd imagine you're right with that price. May be worth more.
