I was thinking last night when Gardner slid into First Base, "Damn, that one play just ended the series.". It's small, little plays like that just take the heart right out of a team. Yankees bullpen surprisingly came through and picked up CC.

Meh.
The bullpen was good all year and was seen as a strength coming into the playoffs... They've blown two leads. Both of which they were handled TERRIBLY by the guys calling the shots...

Man I cant believe how dumb these comments are
1)Losing a season series 10-8 is getting spanked? Ok
B)Swept in a series started by Burnett, Mosley and Vazquez. Those are out 4, 5 and 7 starters.
D)I'm sure this Yankee team doesnt doubt there ability to beat anyone, seeing as how there defending champs
4)Yeah the ability of the Rangers hitters against the Yankees will decide the series? Great insight! Do you think the team that scores the most run will win the game 2?

Better than what? The bully was good all year. They've blown two leads this week. It is what it is. I'm not short-sighted enough to disregard everything I watched over 162 games and go into full-fledged panic over 2 games.

true they did look solid all season long ill give you that, the tampa game you can possibly give them a pass on because it was only a 1 run lead but last nights game is the type of game that messes with players confidence. it's an early game today so it's a shorter turnaround then usual between the end of the game and the start of the new game but if texas wants to have a chance at winning this series they have to win today and be in the position to go up 2-1 when lee takes the mound, but seriously though texas needs to ditch the red uniforms at home
