^ Thought exactly the same thing. I have 2001 whose sole would almost certainly be crumbled like that as soon as I wear them, so, would love to give a try if that’s true.

You fix it There is still plenty of foam and it does not look too much crumbled. You basically go thick on the glue and wait for drying 20 minutes before assembling. It will hold this mess together. May be temporary and need a bit if cleaning/sanding/white paint on the exterior part to look clean, but cheaper than a sole swap.Foam midsole looks pretty crumbled tho. Angelus can fix that???
Pics?!!I wish it was for better news. I’m down to maybe a dozen wearable trainers, and 20 sitting in the graveyard.
One can't really tell as it depends on shoe, how and where its been worn and stored. Beeing 2008s, 12 years old you might not be able to use them very long but who knows... My 2004 book of one's failed on me maybe 4 years ago, while my 2007 checkerboards tongue chloros are still wearable and foam look compact. One of my 2015s pure platinums that have been soaked wet and stored in humidity (never machine wash them btw!) already start cracking and crumbling, you can dent the foam with your nail on them. So, wear your kicks, but buy at your own risk...Favorite trainer to me is the Nike DJ Clark Kent 112's! Had a pair in high school they were grails. any chance if buying a used pair nowadays will not crack?
Any info on upcomin release?Waiting on Trainer 1 lows, they’ll hold me over for a few!
Safari's still wearable? Looking at a pair, how well do these hold up
They are NDS, the guy wants $150I have a beater pair and another for regular wear. both are fine.
usual roll of the dice though. vnds probably safer than ds.
