that dont sound like a connect just  imo. They overcharging you on a shoe that retails for 140 by 60 and 80 dollars. all they did was hold the shoe to make a profit which they were gonna make regardless. Not knocking your "connect" but a connect is suppose to get for retail or if even better for the low.

This game is getting so shady. One of my cousins homeboys is a manager at footaction in Gastonia. I asked my cousin if his boy could put me a pair to the side and he said that he put it to the side yesterday before he left work. I was told that there were 12 pairs, but when we get there the manager on duty tells us they had 6 pairs but could only sell 4 pairs. I asked him was the 10.5 in the back for me and he said he didn't see it. I got there about 8:30 and I saw an employee come out early with a shoe box and I bet it was my size 10.5. My other cousin ended up copping my pair from champs at concord mills, so I'm a happy camper. I just think the situation was a little messed up.

. Of course I'm a lil' upset at the lack of vaseline they used when pricing these for me, however, they did what I asked of them to do which was lock down the shoes for me. I'm already expecting to pay a lil' more every time someone holds a shoe for me so it's no big deal. But with so many releases coming out that I plan on copping, I'm gonna need to start getting these on hold for me like seriously. They see I'm a serious buyer and I came through on my end so this shall strengthen our relationship in the future...

It's the same way I used to get PE's. Cats was getting PE's for free sometimes and then sell them to me for $500-$800. I know they got them for free but I still considered them a connect because they had access to what I desired and could not get on my own w/o their assistance. Was my *+%$ sore after some of the pricing I paid for the PE's? Of course. However, they came through on their end which was providing me with the shoes I wanted...

I would be mad as ever if that happened to me.

I usually just try my luck waiting in line (no more than 3 hours before the store opens) and see if they have my size.

I'll get my true size if they have it, but if not, I'll get another size and try and trade later, so I don't leave empty handed.

Why do you people keep saying "getting"? The game's BEEN shady!! Like was stated before, these minimum wage sneaker hoarders have their fair share in exploiting the game. About 2 weeks ago, when the Playoff XII's dropped, I went on craigslist in my area and saw someone post an ad that he was a Champs manager and he could guarantee any Jordan retro purchase starting at $250 up...

 ...and I'm sure AFTER they reserve their pairs for crap like this they come back and tell you on release morning that they got only a few pairs.
