23rd anniv man. Come on.And do tell quality of said pair.
So those of you who claim to have flawless pairs, give us pics. I'm curious if some batches were bunk or if the whole line was an epic fail.
Back to what dude originally said about this being a flop, now I agree for a few reasons:
1. Ordered pairs from Retailers were never delivered from JB/Nike causing cancelled or backordered items.
2. 70-90% that did COP are not satisfied with the overall Quality of a 25th anniversary shoe that SHOULD HAVE DELIVERED, especially over the Cavs.
3. These are still around "probably" due to poor quality.
Edited sir Dose, had Shark week on the brain.23rd anniv man. Come on.
and yes, those with flawless pairs need to bust out pics.
Definitely had to have had an effect. I can only hope for the hype to keep dying down when the winter months come! *Wishful Thinking*Same here. I'm sure the GMP and Fireberry collection hype had something to do with this happening. Way too E-Z!
Did you have to give them an order # or show pics? I had a flawed pair but bought them at a physical Nikestore. Not sure if there's anything they can do? Wouldn't mind getting a 20% off coupon since I buy stuff from NDC all the time. I'm probably going to return this pair anyways since I still have an order coming in from NDC, which should be here next Wednesday. How's that for slow shipping?? I hope the NDC pairs don't have all the wrinkles and creases of this pair!
Thanks Ambam. Good looking out. I actually want a clean pair to rock but by the look of it, the pair I get will have some flaws. I hope the Nike retail store I return these to don't try to resell these and send them straight to the outlets. SMH at Nike trying to pass b-grade shoes to us at $175 (after tax). Before you start the chat you have to put the order number. Before i even started talking he knew what i was talking about because i guess your order pops up when the chat starts. I also had to attach pictures. They pretty much shrugged their shoulders and said you can return them but there is no restock, until i started bit**** them out about how i paid $160 for quality of a $50 shoe. Then he offered the 20% and free next day air ship. Because you bought it at the store they might tell you to go back to the nike store you bought it from, but its worth a try. Since you have a pair coming from NDC i would wait to get that shipment and then hit them up on chat with the pictures of the messed up pair, they will give you the goodies.
Heres my box
And shoes
We're paying top dollar for these retro releases. I don't expect a super premium product but there are minimal workmanship expectations that we as consumers should demand. I know nothing will change until we stop buying the product. I think it's funny JB's tag line is "Quality Inspired by the Greatest Player Ever." We all know that ship has sail.I just don't understand why everyone complains about quality. They are shoes and if some of you are such o.g. purists then you know the shoes have always had flaws. The Air Jordan 3 and 4 are and WERE the worst. These 2 models are like Air Force 1's. You get may 5 good wears out of them. If you guys want to get bang for your 160 buy some dress shoes that you can have re-soled.
Give it a rest with "Inspect 7" routine.

I said this earlier in the thread, but the Jordan heads think a sneakerhead and a jordanhead are the same thing. These guys were in denial. They practically claimed everyone would get the Fire Reds and EVERYONE would skip the Lebron 9, Kobe 7, Hyperdunk, and Hyperfuses that dropped that day. Despite ALL being some of the most popular shoes out there today. |I Not to mention the less popular Flight '89s had a fireberry colorway and an all gray colorway dropping this month and the Charcoals coming out a month later.Definitely had to have had an effect. I can only hope for the hype to keep dying down when the winter months come! *Wishful Thinking*
