Greed is more like it. That's the ISSUE with reselling, it's more of a trendy social status to say you got 12-16 pair.

Well, Niketowns lease was over with and Niketown failed to outbid the next man for their retail space. Needless to say, it's a H&M now and I'm pissed. Denver has been Nikeless since then. I missed out on my DB's last year due to this mess. Did I already say that I'm not happy?Originally Posted by memphissfinest

Both my pair and my friend's pair have the twentytwelve but it is not noticeable at all like you said, you can see it and it's def. there but it is not anywhere near as clear/defined/perforated as the WC 4's. FWIW both pairs were purchased in the mall on rd from FTL and Champs. Not too worried about. One thing that was interesting though, is when I got let into the store (2 at a time) I asked guy for my size 11 and he brings out a totally beat to %!% box and I open it and one shoe is all scuffed up and had def. been worn by employees. I was like UMmmmMM ya, gimme another 11. Pristine and happy to cop.Originally Posted by marcushatten
it seems like it is supposed to be. Since i got mine i been reading around here and iss and some ppl sayin they got in store and the pair didnt have it. So i donno if i shoudl be worried. I wanna find out before i wear emOriginally Posted by memphistn3000

mine has the twentytwelve, but on my cements you notice it. On these you can barely see the writing. Like i had a flaslight on an angle and you see the ridges and you can feel em. But if you just looked you wouldnt think the writing was there. Donno if im paranoid or not

my orange laces were brighter than the orange on the shoe.. it looks poppin in low light, and super flashy in brighter light.. like on my photos u can tell there's a color difference..

Thanks fam. I'm definitely gonna have to get a bottle of this stuff.Originally Posted by sthebest
Definitely Krylon. Not only has it worked well on Jordans, it also worked well on my South Beach Lebron 8s. it really protected the Teal color from rubbing off.Originally Posted by Sneakerfan1
Definitely gonna have to look into that. Which matte finish spray do you recommend?Originally Posted by sthebest
no I didnt tape it off. because the whole shoe overall was glossy, I sprayed the midsole and then the leather to dull out some of the shine. the result left them looking very much like the 2008 CDPs but with better durability.

good going homie, and definitely the orange. to me, the neon orange laces give these a DB like feel without it being too over the topOriginally Posted by smzsmz
i want to give a shout out to NT member Sneakerfan1 for hooking me up with my sz 13 for just about retail + shipping + paypal fees! realness still exists! i struck out on this release with the rsvps and online. i had access to a few pairs for a size swap but still couldnt make it happen fast enough. it took me until the end of jan. to complete a three way trade for my size 13 concords and i just didnt want to go through that again... i'm very appreciative and just wanted to give him a shout out and a thank you on these boards sort of as an example for others as well as proof that not everyone rapes. thank you again bro.
now, lets take a poll. orange or blue swap? stock is fresh but with everyone running around with these shoes, sometimes you have to switch it up and innovate in order to stand out and represent.

Glad that you got them.
I may sit on my pair and cop some orange laces to toss in them down the road. I don't "love" this colorway, but these definitely look a lot better in person than I expected them to. Everyone I've shown them to (people who aren't into sneakers) told me to keep them. Why JB can't use a matte finish like this on all of their III's and IVs is beyond me.

thats good to know. just pulled up pics of the 2011 BC 3 bc i didnt realize it was that shiny. Ive been lookin to cop some and read the quality fell off big time form the CDPs to these. I never thought that would prevent paint chipping. Mad people were writing they wore the 2011s like twice and they started to crack. thanks for sharing that

Egg-Zactly. The bubble will eventually burst and JB will, at some point, begin to see a decline in sales. At which point, especially now with Gentry no longer with JB (the main obstacle in getting Nike Air back onto certain Jordans), they'll put it back on ONE release to get everyone back on it. *cough cough* Banned I *cough cough*
Give em one free high and watch em keep coming back. Sometimes this kicks game reminds me of the crack game...

I keep seeing the same nonsense written about shoes being an investment, this is seriously what the whole sneaker game has come too. First Jordans and now Foams, I really hope it won't filter down to the rest of Nikes products or the new Ewings about to be released.Originally Posted by lockdown36
