Official Air Jordan 11 Retro "Bred" - The aftermath.... No Buying/Selling/Trading

I don't understand the people who think factory lacing = 100% legit. It's not that hard to do that loop yourselves. Heck, I try on shoes all the time at work, then factory lace them back up. I did it for the Oly VIIs, Chicago Xs, Oly VIs, and the Kilroy IXs a few says ago, then just looped it back up to make them look like they're DS. :lol

New here.  Just curious, are JB sneakers the only ones that shouldnt really have production dates of 2 -3 weeks or less?  Because I have plenty of air max's with production dates of 2-3 weeks.  Also jordan son of mars bordeaux with production date of 3 weeks.  And these were all purchased form legit retailers, some even form Nike.com, so I know theyre not fakes.  Just curious, thanks guys.

it amazes me that all the NT detectives wanting production dates, factory worker social security numbers, etc to determine whether an early release pair of shoes is authentic or not,

are all so quick to jump on the "special box" bandwagon even though the box is obviously missing the "tinker made them shine, mike made them fly, you made them iconic" text that all 3 prior boxes had.

Maybe you can answer this question for me (copy and pasting from above),

When it comes to the Box issue , have you guys forgot about the DMP XI orange nike box deal from early 2006 ? all those were A grade sneakers.

I am not sure if those were " early" or not.

you guys who are calling the early pairs "fake" are trippin.

joints is high quality like a mug , A box change has been changed plenty of times , or a material change at the last second

which made the Sample run . or early production slightly different word to the 06 DMP with the gold JORDAN on the side of them.

no one said thats the box....

when they said it comes in the special box means its coming out in the pull out box just like all the other XI's....

Yea man I kind of agree with you. These early pairs all look real good. The sneakers have been finished being produced for a while now, so whats the big deal if they changed the box? Its not like theyre gonna go back and re produce the sneaker now just cause they have a diff box design.  Those same sneakers will just be in a diff box.  Just my opinion anyway.

Im not really sure but I can tell you there is no definitive rulebook when it comes to things like this. Using information such as production dates as a basis for anything is nothing more than pure speculation on the users part.

If the production date was 12 months before or even after a shoe released, well that may raise an eyebrow, but it still doesn't even prove anything either way.

You as a consumer cant prove nike did or didnt for some reason not made publicly aware, make a production run that was made for other reasons that did not include selling them publicly to you.

Just because you buy nike shoes and read this message board religiously doesnt mean you can definitively explain the inner workings of a business that you are reading 3rd, 4th, and 5th hand knowledge about.

exactly you just proved my point. NO ONE said thats the box. however, those 2 pictures that surfaced are exactly what started the "look now we get a special box" talk.

no, MN posted on twitter we are getting the box.

the pic posted was a regular jordan box with a fake plastic. if you thought that was real deal then idk what to tell you, the plastic was fugazi as hell.

I already pointed out the lid was likely fake when I mentioned it didn't have the text.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Wait so if the "production" versions have been confirmed to look identical to early release y'all are still going on about the box? :x at the end of the day I just want the kicks. A box is a box. Regardless if it's "tradition" for someoen who's coveted the Bred XIs for so long, just being able to finally cop is all I care about.
