I know, and I expected more cardboard as usual but these are nice and soft almost like ambush dunks.
I do not see these on NDC yet, but they are on the app and I really like these and had to cop them. This is to me a better, more tame take on those Sunset Pulse Dunks that I was not a fan of (it was too much going on with those IMO). I am surprised that this is a men's release though with the pastel colors.....I would have thought this would be a women's drop.

It’s noticeably better than the NG imo and I also thought those were pretty good.

That's crazy. I thought these were an overseas only release as they came out in April. I just got my pair in from SX a couple days ago too smh. I could have saved about $30. Qualify is real nice, better than the standard JM lows. That's the second time that happened to me this year, if I would have waited another week, out of nowhere a U.S. release. I feel you on that, but $30 over retail is not too bad, especially since like you stated you do not know how these drops will go and if pairs will be available or go up drastically in price. I have had that happen to me also where I bought a sneaker for a little over retail just for it to drop in the US like a couple months later. I just took it as a meal that I missed out on by spending the extra $20-50 on the shoe. LOL
As for this colorway, I did not even know about it whatsoever until yesterday when I was in the app. It definitely looks like the materials are of higher quality (in comparison to a standard AJ1 Low). I am excited to get these in hand for sure!

3rd L, numbers must be dumb low on these. Ended up paying resell for my lady at 175, it will be her first AJ1. I don't really need anymore for myself unless resell drops below 200

Caved n copped a pair on SX for $190 before fees. Had to get them after I hit on SNKRS for my wife’s pair and the leather quality was

I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in Jordan Brand for changing the OG 1 Low’s. The Starfish 1 with that leather would’ve been perfect. They dropped the ball AGAIN.
