Breaking out the Lost & Founds for the first time in a while for the Holiday season. Should have ended up with two pair of them smh.
If there’s one pair of Jordans it makes total sense to double up on, it’s the Lost and Founds.

Problem is they’re just to expensive to make it feasible.

Bros, is GOAT or StockX the safest place to buy a pair of 2017 Royals?

I been saying **** goat for a while they sold me some fake kith and tried to make me take the L after I called them out on it cuz I threw away the shipping sleeve. Had to get PayPal involved so it's forever **** them.
How were you able to prove that they were fake?

…if they passed GOAT’s authentication?

Either one of those places are equally a risk because they're resale and you're trusting someone to get the authentication right before sending the item your way. FYI, I bought a pair of Jordan 1's on StockX that they notified me of an issue upon their receipt of said item and located another one to send me.

The shorts I received had a mesh liner, but the authentic ones don’t. It should’ve been a simple “we messed up” situation.

I’m on Reddit more than NT these days and follow the Kith subreddit. A day or two after getting the shorts, someone posted asking if that exact pair was supposed to have a liner.People who bought directly from Kith confirmed there shouldn’t have been one, and Kith’s site description didn’t mention a liner either. I immediately opened a ticket with GOAT about it.

To be fair, they were good fakes, and since I don’t live near a Kith store and there aren’t reviews online, I couldn’t compare. If I were an authenticator I can totally see how I might have been fooled.

GOAT initially denied my claim, saying their return policy requires all tags and items to be intact, which I had, however I threw away the shipping sleeve because I don't like a lot of trash and I initially assumed they were good based on the authentication process (I know ironic).

Goat doesn't have a specific sensor attached to their items like stockX or eBay so they are a pain to deal with if some **** happens. I would assume goat takes at least a picture of what goes through their authentication process but they didn't wanna admit their mistake. Ultimately this was enough for PayPal to side with me.

Had a similar issue with goat years ago. Bought from the used section, and it was clear the seller had continued to wear the shoes after posting the pics. Like you said, it should've been a very simple "we messed up, here's your money back" situation, but they dug their heels in and forced me to do a chargeback. Never again.

**** GOAT it is!! I never liked their costumer service anyways

On an authentication note, ebay just emailed letting me know a pair of dunks i ordered didn’t pass authentication and automatically refunded me. This is maybe the second or third time they’ve caught a seller i purchased from selling reps. Fozz Fozz maybe go the ebay route :nerd:

I’ll look and compare prices. Maybe I’ll just avoid the headache and just wish I had a pair lol

Speaking of black toes.

Was this 1 of the worst years ever for aj1s ...i cant remember not 1 that was decent besides 85 metallics. Nothing even on UNC toe level. Damn

The Palominos are going for just a tiny hair over retail in my size, which is amazing.

I loved that shoe, but never bought a pair.

…because I knew I wouldn’t wear them very much.

I think it was a great year for the 85s... all of which could be had for under retail. Honestly, the fact that I could have got every pair of 1s I wanted this year for half price if I had patience means that things are going back to normal for 1s and that is great in my book. Hype be damned.

I mean i bought em and i still havent worn em yet but I know there will be a time I will wear them. When you own a lot of kicks thats the reality of it lol. Especially if its a not a common everyday color to wear. I generally just wear black, red, blue, and grey stuff.

I've grabbed a surprising amount of lows during the drought.

I grabbed metallic 85s this year. They were too clean to skip for the 100 I paid for them.
