Here's the thing ... the Royal custo is fine but uninspiring. The black midsole doesn't balance the blue sole well with the upper in the way the traditional white midsole does.

-got my metallic reds today. The NA tongue tag feels hella stiff and not soft like other retros. Kinda annoyed right now

...the tongue tag is stiff? What difference does it make when you wear them, does it scratch your ankle/leg?

edit: I don't like the wings, either. I don't like translucent outsoles on 1s, nor do I like that Nike still hasn't made up their mind on whether or not they're using clear or blue-tinted on shoes (personally, I prefer clear).
