I could've sworn the Bred 85s were confirmed as a full family release. I wonder if JB changed this.

They could have done this the whole time with every AJ1 release, 85 mold, but nooo we got stuck with short tongue and mid cuts with 12,000+ colorways.Here’s the thing….
Nike/JB is back to their old tricks in 2025. Let’s release the Bred 1s ( one of the most iconic Jordan 1 colorways of all time). We’ll make them an OG 85. But not just any OG 85. We’ll give it that OG molding, that OG tooling, OG specs. We’ll include marketing to show just how OG it is…. & top it off with all the OG Yadda Yadda you could ask for. Then finally, let’s drop it in only 23 stores so only resellers & a few lucky souls can buy.Peoples were complaining about $250 just the other day….. You hear anybody complaining now?
But for me…. I own a boatload of Jordan 1s. And not one of my most coveted pairs is a freakin’ OG 85. So Nike/JB can kick rocks. I’m cool with my 2016s that still look brand new. Btw, I’d actually been upset if they released the Breds looking similar to Lost & Founds…. But they chose to go with those stiff/ uncomfortable *** OG 85s so I’m good.

It’s funny to me Nike/Jordan brand thinks they did something innovating . Dudes been making handmade Air Jordan ones from Italian leather since 2022 (since they can’t get the shape right).
If you asked me, you’re late Nike.
This is a sign Nike is scraping and scrambling having to dig and releasing all these sought after shoes. I know they are flopping hard right now having to compete with New balance and Asics.

Either way, limiting OG CW’s is not the move at all. JB movin backwards like always and limiting product that should be available.
