Frustrated New York Knicks GIF by NBA

Xmas break I plan to clean all my retro 1s . I’m sure glitter has formed on most of them. Did someone mention non scented baby wipes for cleaning? And leather lotion?

Here's a differing mock-up of these. Or will there be multiple colorways of this collaboration model perhaps? Who has $1000 to burn?

If JB would just make a simple commitment to stop releasing mediocre colorways, the hype could easily return.

…as it is the 1 is like a drooling vegetable on life support.

Hopefully under the new leadership, this will come to fruition.

They really thought the black and whites were gonna be the pandas from three years ago.
This is what happens when your company is run by MBAs who aren’t actually sneakerheads.

Pretty much anyone who is a NT regular could have told them this wasn’t going to work out esp. with $180 retail OG Highs but I guess their greed was too strong…..

Glad their chickens are coming home to roost now though.

They actually started a whole new department at JB like ~2 years ago JUST to design AJ 1s…. I’m guessing those people are furiously updating their LinkedIn pages right now lol

I don't know what to tell y'all.

Jordan 1s still move.
Not at full retail though.

I think that $160 pricetag with the release schedule and lower stock allocation for OG Highs was ideal for OG Highs. When they increased to $180 retail and increased stock, things started to sit and get heavily discounted. From 2016-2022 we rarely got discounts on AJ 1 OG Highs because they weren’t producing them in the stock we got. There were a few releases like Bloodlines, City of Flights, and even 2016 Storm Blues that hit discount but, for the most part, releases would sellout because stock wasn’t all that high to begin with.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it’s a bad thing that more people can afford OG Highs but I also understand that they flooded the market with lots of inferior cws and increased stock to essentially allow this to happen.
