That's cool that you have that rapport with him. However, it's kind of lame that we have to be-friend, tip, and otherwise suck up to people for them to do their job diligently.

as a delivery guy i knock and ring on every door but when you're even slightly kind i definitely knock extra loud or ring twice instead of once. it is what it is.

i don't even work with the idea of getting a tip. literally a "thank you" or "hey, how's your morning" and i may not remember your name but i remember your door
