paper has nothing to do with it...its just how the black paint oxidizes over time

Only thing for certain is that it takes a couple years to show up, and I think the process happens quicker with humidity. I’ve been checking them religiously over the last year or so, hoping I’d be in the clear. I’d take pics but y’all know what it looks like, will check the rest of my pairs over the weekend.
