Hello 

I purchased an Air Jordan 1 Pre release of April 1st release royal from GOAT.  However, I was curious to know how the shoe is verified when it has not yet been launched by Nike at all and the release date is April 1st.  It is not in the market for sale and I am receiving it. Sounds little fishy. Is it original and the same one which is going to be released on April or any other Chinese replica.

u just thought about all this? lol there are early pairs out there. so they probably got a pair and use it for reference.

I can't speak on it but most places had these sneakers for about two-three weeks now so could be sellers who got em from mom and pop shops. I don't know about goat and it's verification process but everyone who buys from them on here seems to be okay

Yes GOAT claims that they are with the verified sellers 2-3 weeks before they are in market. So they can send it before release. I was just confused of what they mean!

But seems like there are sellers who get the models before even they are launched in the market. Wow.

Nike obviously isn't shipping the shoes to the store on the 1st, man. People have long ago learned how to get their hands in there and intercept some stock.

@AlienCop you'll be fine man. A lot of stores get shipment a week or two before the release date and instead of waiting until release date, they sell pairs sometimes to close friends or family or just regular customers. They're not supposed to do it, but it happens very often with limited sneakers. It's common to see limited Jordans on StockX and Goat before release date. GOAT will make sure the shoes are legit and then send them to you, don't worry too much.

Why would you spend $300 on a shoe you don't know can be real before you even have the chance to pay retail. At least take a chance at retail or wait for the release date beforehand. Especially since there's a **** load of fakes for this shoe since it's hyped up.
