I like how Nike marginalizes their products. "Didn't scoop the OG Bred 1's in September?..well here's your shot at these.."
I find it funny how they purposely put out bad products so people will lust after their good ones.

On a serious note, would it be hard to remove the Nike Air from the Rare Airs? I'd love to glue a Wings logo over the rare air to make/customize a cheap pair of Banneds.

Don't see how that back will survive removing embroidery. Think you gotta do it stitch by stitch. But the leather that's left will prob show what was there with the stitch holes.
At some point you can prob pick up a couple of pairs to experiment with. Can see these getting hit with the heavy discounts down the road.

I really really don´t understand why they would do that.
Maybe in a slightly different colorblocking these would make sense as struggle-OGs, but only changing the branding waters down the classics and only serves as their own payless version of the flagship model.
I sill don´t have Chicagos, but I would feel sad with these knockoffs on my feet.

These are better than the 1.5s though. They are the same Jordan 1, just with different logos. Although I would prefer to have NO logos on the shoe than what they replaced the wings logo with.

Hey, they'll be an easy cop for you. So there's that.
I get it. Was the same logic when I bought the 1.5's. But after eventually getting the OG's, I don't even want to look at or wear the 1.5's. Not even as beaters. What a waste of dough in hindsight. At least these will look much closer than those, especially if the jeans go over the tongue.
Don't give them ideas.

Nike has already released the Jordan 1.5 which has the nike on the ankle like the OG pair. The Jordan 1 black/red with Air Jordan on the ankle is releasing and has a jumpman on the tongue and nike air on the back of the shoe. Is this how the OG black/red pair looked like? only photo of OG pair I could find is in this Japanese Magazine I included the photos from. Any one know the back story to this pair?
