Official Air Jordan 1 Retro High Thread Vol: Best Model/Thread

My Black Yin Yangs just came in today from Shoe Palace. Basically, 1 day shipping because their warehouse is in Morgan Hill and I live in San Jose, CA. 15 minute drive. 

Really like the pair that I got. No major flaws. All for $103 shipped or so. I had to pay taxes so didn't get the $96.00 deal that others were getting. Pics in the album link below. 

my pair from SP were weird around the swoosh on the side of the shoe where it meets the back piece of leather...the back piece overlapped the swoosh a little bit so that it looked like the swoosh got more narrow than it should have been at that part

so I tried to fix it with an xacto knife....and accidentally cut a couple of stitches...to fix that I tried to super glue it...then I accidentally got a couple drips of super glue on the back panel and stained it...then I tried to remove the glue with nail polish remover and messed it all up...then finally I had to get some angelus leather paint and paint over it

I'm an idiot. no doubt about it. if you really look you can see where I painted on my pair but what can you do. it was my stupidity, I just gotta live with it. I will double up though on another pair if they ever get lower than $95

i don't know why, but i really dislike UNC's.

they got j**** out here about to look like a young F-A-B-O or Capo out here with fugazi kicks....some assistant about to get fired for pocketing the WB diff.

definetly understand this .... the UNC is working against the blueprint type for 1s - primary 'dark' color with secondary lighter color. Also, with 1s sometimes its about the color blocking (definetly the SBBs did this well) which the UNCs blocking is staid as it goes for a traditional 1-2 color blocking. but don't worry those UNCs you leave around during releases won't be lonely ... I have a nice spot in my collection for them.

Umm uncs are kind of the blueprint. They are an og colorway. Makes no sense
