The pair you mess up (if) just black it out and you got a pretty nice shoe all the same

$300 is actually cheap. The shoe itself is about $200 and the paint maybe $20-$30. So for someone to do it for you, that has experience, $70 or so isn't bad at all.

Contemplating getting custom Laser Frags done since it's pretty much impossible to get them for retail and I don't wanna shell out a G for them. Anyone else think it's crazy to pay someone about $500 (including base shoe) for them?

Still seems like a lot, but it's still half the price of a Frag. Of course, its still a custom and I'm not sure how well they hold up over time... I could always attempt to customize them myself, but I just don't trust myself lol.

If you really want it that bad, don't spend $600 on a custom, just skip a release or two if you have to and buy the real deal. You're only $200 off the price of a real AJ1xFragment, if you look hard enough you will be able to find a pair for $800-$900.

i meant people aren't paying $200 for lasers. Most of the owners bought them at a discount one way or another. Like the JJ coupon a few weeks back that knocked it down to nearly $100

I can get you someone who can do it for a very, very reasonable price. He's actually doing my laser royals now.

que the smallest violin lol. Yeah that JJ deal was a good deal, I forgot how much it was exactly but it was definitely the cheapest you can get anywhere. They're still going for retail or $10-$20 below retail give or take depending on the store you're finding them on sale at.

Yeah but it's not like everyone is feasting on that price. It was a sale by one place. MOST people paid retail.

people knew these were gonna sit. a lot pair less than retail but not everyone paid $110

yeah if you paid near $200, you deserve it lol. If that person was smart, return it and buy it on disco. They were one of the most slept on release of the year with one of the better quality.
