I'm still trying to figure out how the concept of the shattered backboards is any different than the majority of concepts used on any other 1s ...

They gave us the damn "Highlight Reels" for godness sake

Just be happy we're getting a legit mold and good leather this time around.

might be a PS, but a Royals custom from the Lasers as base seems hard to do. And most definitely time and money consuming.

Unless in that pic, a person laser etched a pair of royals. In that case..

^^ Just curious, why is it hard to do? Aren't you just painting over a mostly white base? Hardest part would be the sockliner, wings, tongue, and dying the sole a shade darker.

FYI these can't be etched royals. Wrong mold.

You're changing damn near the entire shoe except for the midsole. Easy customs are changing a small part on the shoe. You yourself listed a whole bunch of things that require painting or dyeing, and that is not easy work. Especially to keep the newly changed color. Not saying it's an impossible custom, just saying that I think it is pretty hard to do.

I forget who, but a member here did custom a Black/yellow pair in the same color blocking as the Trinity pairs. Don't know the base or how easy it was. I'm not a customizer.

I don't see it being to difficult to paint the shoes I've painted a pair of my 7s and the overall project didn't take up to much time in my eyes.. But I do paint on canvas at times as well

I guess everyone has their definition of hard (BTW never said easy). Seems like it would take patience more than anything because the colors are solid (whether painting or dyeing). No real artistic ability needed. On top of that, the base is white so you would'nt need tons of coats to hide a darker original color.

I believe the base for the black yellow pair is much harder because the base of that shoe was the highlight reel. Need to sand down all of the textures before beginning and probably lots of coats to cover the dark red with yellow.

Anyway, moving on...

You don't know what you can do until you try and if you ain't good the first time well here's news nobody is. So just keep trying... Just spend some time in the sneaker art forum YouTube videos Google and experiment on beaters..

Just as long as you take your time, be patient, use the correct materials and have a steady hand I don't see any reason why it would be difficult to customise your own shoes in that same style - simply paint different sections of the shoe with a colour.

i don't think you'll get them for less than 750+tax/fees/shipping from a legit website. If you're VERY lucky you would find an individual seller who would let them go for less than 7 bills IMHO.
