I have 2 pairs of the mids (stormtrooper and all star) and just got my first pair of lows - the ascent pack mx grey. Holy **** I love these. Way better than the mids (and I love the mids). These look so good with black jeans. To me, they fill the gap of creative footwear I was getting with Yeezy. I hope Adidas keeps the creativity going with the 2 and beyond. Also, I went .5 size up like I do in my mids and these fit perfectly. No heel slip.

THIS! I had to research my collection, and I found that the last time I purchased at least three (excluding NBY and retro) of a new basketball signature was the LeBron 20 and Curry 9. I don’t think I’ve ever accumulated five for a new basketball signature.

I’ve honestly tried to avoid/ignore adidas for the longest. Before these, I noticed that I scoop for one or two every year, but it’s usually a collab with a franchise that I’m a fan of (Dragon Ball, Simpsons, LEGO, etc.). This year was definitely an ANTomaly (see what I did there?! ). The design and cws for the AE1s make them a modern day classic for me. I consider these as my all time favorite basketball silhouette from the three stripes.

How do they run? I own mids and they were a struggle to put on so I’m assuming these are much easier.

Way easier to get on but the heel slippage is real on the lows

Lowe run pretty tts. I’d lace through the top lace loop. Eliminated any heel slippage for me.

Lacing through the top or even a runners loop helped eliminate it for me
